TYLER, Texas – As their season wrapped up in the first round of the NCAA Tournament,
Kira Miller,
Cassidy Hill, and
Katelin Heise were all selected to All-South Central Region Teams, the organization announced Tuesday morning.
Miller, who was selected to the First-Team All-South Central Region, is coming off her final collegiate season in which she broke the ASU all-time saves record and finished with 311 in her career. The graduate student from Frisco has already been named as the Lone Star Conference Academic Player of the Year, the LSC Goalkeeper of the Year, and an All-LSC First Team honoree.
Hill was also named to the First Team All-South Central Region after being named the Defensive Player of the Year for the second time in her tenure just over a week ago. The senior from Forney was a key contributor to a backline that allowed only 16 goals in 20 matches. Hill did not miss a minute of action in 2022, amassing 1,840 minutes on the pitch.
Heise earned her first All-Region selection after being named to the Second Team All-South Central Region. Heise finished the season with 12 points, four goals and four assists. The midfielder was a key box-to-box component of both the Belles offense and defense.
