SAN ANGELO, Texas - The Angelo State Women's soccer team had Melyna Martinez selected to the All-South-Central Region Second Team, the Organization announced Tuesday afternoon.
 
The D2CCA All-Region teams are nominated and selected by the region's sports information directors. The process concludes with All-American selections that will be announced in December. 
 
Martinez,was selected to the All-South-Central Region Second Team, recording 10 shutouts this season. The San Antonio native was named the LSC Goalkeeper of the year after recording 59 saves and conceding 13 goals on the year.
