RICHARDSON, Texas - The Lone Star Conference announced the Women's Soccer 2025 All-Conference teams this evening at the awards banquet on the campus of Dallas Baptist.
Melyna Martinez was named the Goalkeeper of the Year after being top of the conference in shutouts with 10. Martinez led the Rambelles to a 9-5-5 overall record. Martinez was also third in the conference with a .827 save percentage. Martinez is also third in the conference with .655 goals against average. Martinez would also be named to the All-Conference First Team.
Christina Clark,
Harper Saxon, and
Sanai Stewart were honored as part of the All-LSC Second Team. Clark and Saxon are the staples of the defense for the Rambelles, recording 10 shutouts this year and allowing 14 goals on the season. Saxon would also be selected to the All-LSC Academic Team. Stewart would lead the team in goals, with seven, and recorded two assists.
Abby James,
Lexi Gonzales, and
Graycen Rasmussen were highlighted on the All-LSC Third Team. James has been a leader in the midfield for the past couple of years. James led the team in assists with seven and also recorded two goals on the year. Gonzales is one of the bright spots on this year's team, giving an element on the offensive side of the ball that the Belles haven't had before. Gonzales, a transfer from Tarleton State, recorded three goals on the year and two game-winning goals. Rasmussen led the front lines this season for the Rambelles, recording four goals and three game-winning goals to lead the Rambelles into the quarterfinals of the Lone Star Conference Tournament.
