No.14 Rams Host Cameron in Final Home Series

SAN ANGELO, Texas – The 14th-ranked Angelo State baseball team will close out their home schedule this weekend as the Rams host Cameron in the final home series of the regular-season beginning Friday, April. 22 at Foster Field at 1st Community Credit Union Stadium.
 
LAST WEEK:
The Rams picked up another road sweep last weekend, defeating Eastern New Mexico to improve to 20-0 on the road. ASU tallied 62 runs in four games while allowing only 16 runs from the Greyhounds.

The Rams have dominated their matchups against the Aggies, winning 21 of the last 23 meetings including the last seven games in a row. ASU is averaging just over five runs per game against Cameron, winning their most recent game 18-2 last season.
 
SCOUTING CAMERON:
The Aggies have a 13-27 overall record heading into the weekend against the Rams, going 13-25 in Lone Star Conference play. Cameron lost seven straight before their most recent series, splitting with Lubbock Christian last weekend after winning the first two games over the Chaps.

Julian Macias leads CU at the plate with a .314 batting average, collecting 38 hits and 15 RBIs on the season. Jordan Harrison-Dudley has brought in the most runs with 41 RBIs while Beau Williams has a team-high 12 doubles. On the mound, Drew Henderson leads with a 3-4 overall record, holding a 3.23 ERA through 39 innings. He has 32 strikeouts this season and has made 10 appearances.
