PORTALES, N.M.- The Angelo State Cross Country teams concluded competition at the LSC Championships on Oct. 21 in Portales, N.M, on the Eastern New Mexico Cross Country Course.
Rambelles

The Rambelles claimed sixth place as a team.

Anna Eischen was the top finisher for the Belles, claiming 20th place with a time of 23:10.21.

Mary Brown was the next runner in for ASU, placing 33rd with an average mile time of 6:25.

Shadae Findley was the third finisher for the Blue and Gold, taking 37th with a time of 24:00.31.

Marina Grimaldo finished as the 47th individual with an average mile time of 6:37.

Carley Thornton was also on the course for the Belles, placing 49th with a time of 24:44.98.
Rams

The Rams finished 9th place as a team.

Trey Showen was the top finisher for the Rams, placing 47th with a time of 27:27:29.

Wesley Rogers came in second for ASU, placing 50th with an average mile time of 5:32.

Emmanuel Serna was the third finisher for the Blue and Gold, claiming 67th with a time of 28:21:48.

Austin Souther placed 70th with an average mile time of 5:44.

Tate Hughes claimed 79th with a time of 28:46.57.

Ethan Reyes and Taylon Watson were also on the course for the Rams, placing 95th and 103rd respectively.
The Rams and Belles will prepare to compete in the NCAA South Central Regional in Lubbock, Texas, on Nov. 4.
