SAN ANGELO, Texas – The American Baseball Coaches Association and ATEC announced Angelo State Baseball's Kevin Brooks as the NCAA Division II South Central Region Coach of the Year for the fourth consecutive season.
 
The ABCA/ATEC Regional Coaches of the Year are selected by members of the ABCA All-America & Coach of the Year Committees in all nine divisions.
 
In 2024, Brooks led the Rams to a 44-21 overall record and a fourth straight appearance in the NCAA Division II National Championship Tournament. The Rams reached the Division II title game for the second consecutive year, becoming the first team to make back-to-back appearances since 2006.
 
The Rams tallied five All-American honors this past season along with 12 All-Region recipients and seven LSC All-Conference awards.
