SAN ANGELO, Texas - Angelo State women's golf had two athletes named Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) Academic All-Americans in Laura Klimova and Lacey Stevens.
 
To be named a WGCA Academic All-American, you must have an overall cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher. Be an amateur and on the team's roster through the conclusion of the team's season, and have played in 50% of the college's regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the year.
 
Klimova is a graduate student from Prague, Czech Republic, majoring in counseling psychology while Stevens is a junior from Pleasanton, Texas, majoring in natural resource management.
 
The Belles collected three top-10 finishes last season, including a second-place finish at the Top of Texas Invitational.
