San Angelo, Texas- The Angelo State women's golf team is back in action for the WT Desert Invitational in Tuscon, Ariz. hosted by West Texas A&M, with play beginning on Mar. 31.  

The Course and The Players:  

• The Rambelles will compete in two rounds of play at The Lodge at Ventura Canyon course.  

• Mia Clarke, Johanna Öhrling, Lacey Stevens, Kara Knight and Caitlin Vanderkruk will golf the course as a team for the Belles.  

• Kelsey Kline will also compete for the Blue and Gold as an individualist on the course.  

Last Time at the WT Desert Invitational:  

• The Belles competed in the invitational in the 2024 season, where they finished 13th overall, finishing above conference opponent Texas A&M Kingsville.  

• Stevens competed in the tournament, where she tied for 57th with an overall score of 166.  

Last Time Out:  

• The Belles competed in the Patriot Invitational on Mar 17-18, where they finished 12th overall, with a combined score of 959.  

• Stevens tuned in the best performance, tied for 26th with a combined score of 231.  

• Öhrling tied for 35th with a final score of 235. 

• Kline ended the tournament tied for 59th with round scores of 83, 78 and 82.  

• Vanderkruk finished the tournament tied for 74th with an overall score of 250.
