RICHARDSON, Texas – Angelo State track & field collected two Lone Star Conference Athletes of the Week after the eighth-ranked Rams and 14^th-ranked Rambelles hosted the ASU Invite last week.
 
Earning LSC male field athlete of the week was Kobi Valchar, a sophomore commercial aviation major from Schulenburg, Texas. He won the discus, tossing a provisional mark of 51.81m (170-0). He ranks 16^th overall in Division II in the event, throwing his highest mark of the season two weeks ago at the Cactus Cup. (53.62m).
 
On the women's side, Fedra Florentin was selected as the women's field athlete of the week after claiming a victory in the shot put with a throw of 14.83m (48'8"). The NCAA Division II provisional mark ranks 13th in the nation this season.
