Rambelles Golf Qualifies for NCAA West Regional

Indianapolis, Ind- The Angelo State women's golf team, for the first time since 2010, has qualified for postseason play and will compete in the NCAA West Regional on May 5-7 at La Paloma Golf Course in Amarillo, Texas.  

This is the second time in the program's history that the Belles have made the postseason, also doing so in 2010. The regional that year, the Rambelles finished sixth in the West regional, which also took place in Amarillo.

The Belles will see some familiar faces in Amarillo as fellow LSC competitors Dallas Baptist, St. Mary's, West Texas A&M, UT Tyler, Midwestern State, Lubbock Christian, Texas A&M International and Cameron will also compete in the NCAA West Regional.  

The final field of 18 team will see non-LSC opponents Cal State San Marcos, Cal State LA, Simon Fraser, Biola, Cal State East Bay, CSU Pueblo, Sonoma State, Colorado Christian and Academy of Art.  

In the 2024-25 season, the Belles have claimed seven top ten team finishes while competing in a total of ten tournaments. 

The Belles concluded their regular season on Apr. 22 in the LSC Championship, where the team finished in eighth place.
