SAN ANGELO, Texas – The Angelo State track and field teams will travel to Eastern New Mexico this week as the 12
th-ranked Rams and 16
th-ranked Rambelles compete at the 2025 Lone Star Conference Outdoor Championships beginning Thursday, May 1.

Competing at the ASU Invite,
Solomon Odonkor ran the fastest 100m time in Division II this season, clocking in at 10.08. He also ran the seventh-best time in the 200m, winning with a time of 20.55.
Fedra Florentin won the shot put with a toss of 14.83m (48-8) which puts her 14
th in Division II.
Quick Notes:
-The Rams & Rambelles hold the top mark in the Lone Star in 10 events heading into the championships.
-Overall, ASU has 28 marks that rank in the top three in the conference.
-Odonkor leads all of Division II in the 100m while
Oleg Ananev leads the country in the pole vault at 5.60m.
-The Rams hold five marks that rank in the top 10 in Division II while the Rambelles have three marks.
-In the USTFCCCA Top 25 rankings, the Rams are the third-highest ranked men's team in the LSC while the Rambelles are the second-highest ranked.
-The last time the LSC Outdoor Championships were held in Portales, N.M., was in 2019 when the Rams and Rambelles swept both titles.
