Richardson, Texas - The 18th ranked Angelo State women's soccer team was picked to finish second place in the Lone Star Conference Preseason Poll the conference announced this morning.
Dallas Baptist is picked to finish first in the standings with 650 total points and 29 first place votes, Angelo State is projected to finish second with 634 total points and 13 first place votes, and Texas Woman's is projected to finish third with 556 points and one first place vote. Midwestern State and St. Mary rounds out the top five.
The Rambelles are coming off a season to remember going 14-2-5 and 10-0-3 in LSC action and going on to win the Lone Star Conference regular season and tournament titles. The Belles had their best ever finish to a season making it to the round of 16.

Travis McCorkle returns 17 players from last season's championship team and adds 12 new players to fold as the Belles look to repeat.
Annie Rocha of St. Edward's was tabbed the league's Preseason Offensive Player of the Year. DBU Senior Parker Coe was named the Preseason Defensive Player of the Year, while Amanda Farris of TWU claimed Preseason Goalkeeper of the Year accolades.
The Rambelles open the 2025 season strong by taking on No. 4 Colorado School of Mines at home on September 4th, with kickoff scheduled for 7 p.m.
