GREENWOOD, Ind. – The 2025 Angelo State football program adds another accolade after
Hunter Wallis was named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team as announced by the organization Tuesday.
Wallis, an Interdisciplinary Studies student from Cypress, Texas, was recently named a Lone Star Conference Honorable Mention and named to the LSC's All-Academic team. He finished the season starting in all 10 games where he recorded 27 receptions for 472 yards and eight touchdowns.
To qualify for the CSC Academic All-District team, student-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher. They must be a sophomore academically and athletically, and must have played in 90 percent of the institution's matches or started in 66 percent of the institution's matches.
