SCOUTING THE COMETS
UT Dallas enters the weekend with an 15-7 record, tied for third in the Lone Star Conference. The Comets are amid a three-weekend road trip, most recently at Cameron, who they were supposed to face at home but had to relocate the series due to inclement weather last week. Location did not matter that much to UTD, who swept the Aggies, outscoring them 44-22.
HITTING
As a team, the Comets are hitting at a .308 clip, in fifth place in the LSC while boasting a conference-best 54 doubles. Among qualified hitters, the Comets have eight players with a batting average over .300 and two with an OPS over 1.000. Kole Kinnison leads the team with a .419 batting average and 26 hits. Trent McCown boasts the team-best 1.131 OPS thanks to a team-high 10 doubles and six home runs.
PITCHING
On the mound, the Comets have a staff ERA of 6.22, which is fifth in the LSC. Seth Taylor leads the rotation with a 5.14 ERA, with Tag Pacot looks to be the UTD's high leverage arm out of the bullpen as he showcases a 2.70 ERA in 16.2 innings, earning three saves across 10 appearances.

Therefore, all games on the Rams' 2026 schedule are Lone Star Conference games, with the first two series of the season will be three games each before transitioning back to a four-game series format beginning in week three.
