ROCKWALL, Texas – The Angelo State University women's golf team is in 11th place after the opening day of the Lone Star Conference Championship taking place at the Rockwall Golf Club.

The Rambelles posted a 36-hole total of 790, shooting 385 (+25) in the first round and 405 (+45) in the second.

Mia Clarke leads the Rambelles and is tied for 11th at 148 (+4), carding rounds of 74 (+2) in both outings.

Beth Norton is tied for 33rd with a 155 (+11), following a 76 (+4) in the opening round with a 79 (+7) in the second.

Christine Huse opened with a 75 (+3) before posting an 85 (+13) in round two. She is tied for 46th at 160 (+16).

Kelsey Kline competed in the first round and shot a 78 (+6), while Kara Knight recorded an 83 (+11) in the second round.

The Rambelles will continue the championship with round three tomorrow, Apr. 14.
