RICHARDSON, Texas – Following a 36-14 regular season, the No. 14 Angelo State baseball team has earned the No. 2 seed in the Lone Star Conference Championship, the league office announced Sunday evening.

The Rams will host No. 7 seed Texas A&M-Kingsville (25-25) in a best-of-three opening-round series at Foster Field at 1st Community Credit Union Stadium.

Game times are set for:

• Friday, May 1 at 6:30 p.m.
• Saturday, May 2 at 3 p.m.
• Sunday, May 3 at 1 p.m. (if necessary)

The Blue and Gold enters the postseason as the defending LSC Tournament champion and has captured six conference tournament titles overall (2025, 2023, 2022, 2021, 2015, 2012).

The Rams and Javelinas met earlier this season, with Kingsville winning a 14-inning opener before ASU responded with three straight victories to claim the series.
