No. 12 Rams Earn No. 3 Seed in South Central Regional

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The No. 12 Angelo State baseball team earned the No. 3 seed in the South Central Regional for the 2026 NCAA Division II Baseball Championship, as announced Sunday night during the Selection Show.

Colorado Mesa (49-4), the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference regular season and tournament champion, secured the top seed in the regional, followed by No. 2 seed UT Tyler (43-10). Angelo State enters the tournament as the No. 3 seed with a 40-17 record.

St. Mary's (38-17), Lubbock Christian (34-21) and MSU Denver (38-16) rounded out the six-team regional field.

The South Central Regional will be divided into two sites. Top-seeded Colorado Mesa will host St. Mary's and Lubbock Christian, while second-seeded UT Tyler will host ASU and MSU Denver.

The winners from each regional site will advance to a best-of-three Super Regional hosted by the highest remaining seed, with a berth in the 2026 NCAA Division II College World Series on the line.
