SAN ANGELO, Texas – After winning its last two games, the Angelo State men's basketball team will look to keep momentum rolling as Cameron comes to town at 7:30 p.m. at Stephens Arena in the Junell Center.

The Rams put a 7-2 home record on the line as the team is now 9-11 on the season and 2-8 in the Lone Star Conference. Keenen Coleman has been the leader in points at 15.8 per game while Reggie Brice is tops in rebounds at 5.7 per game.  

Hanif Nixon-Hughes has stepped his game up in the Rams last two victories. He has averaged 15.0 points per game coming off the bench and has grabbed six rebounds per game. He is second in the team in scoring in the two wins.

Stephens Arena at the Junell Center has been a welcome site for the Rams this season. The team averages eight points more than its season average per game and force opponents into 18 turnovers per game compared to 16.5 on the season.

The game will feature the top two scorers in the Lone Star Conference. Coleman is second in the league at 15.8 per game while Cameron's Milton Garner is second at 20.1 per game.

Cameron has dropped four of its last five games overall and are 4-3 on the road this season. The Aggies have an overall record of 11-7 and are 7-5 in the LSC. Cameron is currently tied for No. 3 in the LSC standings with West Texas A&M and Incarnate Word.

The first matchup provided a thrilling finish. Cameron started the game on an 18-4 run before the Rams tied the game with three minutes left in the game.  The Aggies were able to take a three point victory with help from the free-throw line. Cameron scored 27 of its points at the line including 16-22 in the second half.
