COACH QUOTES
Head coach
Travis McCorkle (58-42-15 record in 6th year at ASU, 98 overall career wins)
On playing against Texas Woman's on Friday:
"Defending has been our strength this season, but we didn't play strong defense the first time against them. We didn't play with composure or deal with shots they sent into the penalty area. We will have to do better. We'll also have to find ways to score against them. Our attackers are working hard in training."
On playing against Texas A&M-Commerce on Sunday:
"Commerce is always a dangerous team and is similar to Texas Woman's in that they play a direct style. They have the ability to cause a lot of problems for us, but at the same time we have the ability to be sound in our defending. If we can deal with them like we're capable of then we should put ourselves into position to earn points."
