SAN ANGELO, Texas – The Angelo State University men's basketball team heads to Wichita Falls, Texas, and Lawton, Oklahoma, to take on Lone Star Conference opponents Midwestern State University and Cameron University on Thursday, December 19 and Saturday, December 21, respectively. Tipoff is slated for 7:30 p.m. on Thursday and 4 p.m. on Saturday.

The Rams hosted Tarleton State and No. 19 Dallas Baptist on Thursday, December 5 and Saturday, December 7. Against Tarleton, ASU claimed an 80-71 victory over the Texans with Jeremy Hayes leading the offense and scorers with 23 points, 19 of them came in the first half. Andres Ibarguen grabbed 12 rebounds. Against Dallas Baptist, the Rams forced an overtime period but came up short in an 84-82 loss. Collin Turner finished the night with 21 points, while Bell (16), Ibarguen (14), and Hayes (13) all scored in the double digits as well. Turner, Bell, and Ibarguen fell short of double-doubles, grabbing nine rebounds apiece.

Brock Schreiner leads the Aggie offense with 97 points and a 12.1 points per game average. The 6-foot guard shoots 33.3 percent from the field, 37.5 percent from beyond the arc, and 67.7 percent from the line. Kendall Scott leads the Aggie defense with 68 rebounds and an 8.5 rebound per game average. Scott has grabbed 47 boards on defense and 21 on offense.
