SAN ANGELO, Texas – The Angelo State University men's basketball team hosts Texas A&M University-Kingsville and Texas A&M International University in its final home stand of the regular season on Thursday, February 20 and Saturday, February 22, respectively. Tipoff is slated for 7:30 p.m. on Thursday and 4 p.m. on Saturday.

Series History:
Since 2007, the Rams hold a 17-9 lead over the Javelinas and are currently on a three-game win streak against TAMUK. The last time these two teams met was February 9, 2019 with the Blue and Gold claiming a 77-72 win at home. ASU holds a 9-2 record at home against the Javelinas. The Rams hold a 55-54 edge in the all-time series. Texas A&M-Kingsville enters the weekend with an 18-6 record overall and an 11-2 record in conference action.
The Rams and Dustdevils meet for the fourth time in program history. The last time these two teams met was on November 15, 2014 with the Rams defeating the Dustdevils 86-51. Caleb Highley leads the Dustdevil offense with a 14.0 points per game average. He averages 32.1 minutes a game and holds a .515 field goal percentage, sixth highest in the conference. Highley ranks second on the team for rebounds with 153, a 6.4 average.
Assisting Highley on the defense, Tom Higgins leads the team with 157 rebounds and a 6.5 rebounds per game average.
Key Players:
Andres Ibarguen leads the Rams defense with a 9.8 rebounds per game average, ranking him first in the conference. Ibarguen has also been a force on the offense, averaging 13.3 points per game. The 6-5 forward leads the conference in field goal percentage with a .677 which is also the best on the team. Ibarguen currently ranks fourth in the Rams record book as well for double-doubles with 10 on the season. He has notched three double-doubles in a row.
Collin Turner leads the Ram offense with a 15.8 points per game average. He averages 34.5 minutes in game and has played and started in all 21 games for the Rams. He owns a .443 field goal percentage, including a .384 percentage from behind the arc.
