SAN ANGELO, Texas – Playing in a rematch from last weekend's competition, the Angelo State women's soccer team will travel to Lubbock Christian on Wednesday as the Belles open Lone Star Conference play against the Lady Chaps at 6 p.m.
LAST WEEK:
The Belles played their first home game of the spring against Lubbock Christian last Saturday. After falling behind early in the second half 1-0, the Belles answered with three goals to take a 3-1 win over the Lady Chaps. They improved to 2-0 after beginning the week with a 1-0 victory over St. Edward's

With last Saturday's win, the Belles took the lead in the all-time series, winning the first-ever match last season as well.
RAMEM:
Cindy Rodriguez leads the Belles in points so far this season, recording an assist against the Hilltoppers and scoring the game-winner against Lubbock Christian. In her first season,
Casey Crawford has recorded 180 minutes in goal with two wins and four saves on the season.
As a team, the Belles are averaging 12.5 shots per match which is more than double their opponents at six shots per match. Of their 25 shots, 15 have landed on target as ASU ranks fourth in the conference in shots on goal per match.
