SAN ANGELO, Texas - The Angelo State men's basketball team returns home for two Lone Star Conference games, welcoming Texas A&M-Kingsville and Texas A&M International to the Junell Center.

LAST TIME OUT:
The Rams beat St. Mary's handedly on Monday 88-68 in San Antonio behind an efficient night offensively. The Rams shot 55 percent from the field and scored 52 in the second half.
Tyrell Carroll led ASU with 17 points while
Miles Macadory had 12 points, six assists, and five rebounds.

SCOUTING TEXAS A&M KINGSVILLE:
The Javalinas enter the week 11-7 on the year and 2-5 in conference play. Their conference wins came against Oklahoma Christian and St. Mary's in their most recent game. Five of the losses for TAMUK have been by four points or less. Kingsville currently sits 15
th  in the LSC standings, which would find them missing the conference tournament at this moment (top 12 teams make the tournament).

On offense, the Javalinas rank 11
th in the conference scoring 72.6 points per game. Defensively, TAMUK ranks seventh, allowing 67.9 points per contest. The Javalinas have been struggling from the field, shooting .414 as a squad which ranks 16
th in the LSC, only topping Cameron. Despite their FG percent, Kingsville averages 8.9 made threes per contest, fourth best in the conference. A 3.39 turnover margin is another bright spot for the Javalinas, ranking thrd best in the LSC.
