SAN ANGELO, Texas – The Angelo State football team will begin the 2022 season in the top 10 as the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) released its NCAA Division II Preseason Coaches' poll with the Rams ranked 7^th overall.
 
The Rams are coming off one of their most successful seasons, advancing to the quarterfinals of the NCAA DII Championship.
 
ASU opens their season at home on Sept. 1, as they welcome in Chadron State at LeGrand Stadium at 1^st Community Credit Union Field.
