CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – The Angelo State women's tennis teams travels to Corpus Christi to participate at the Islander Open.
 
The Rambelles have competed in two tournaments this fall, participating in the Javelina Jam and competing in the ITA South Central Region a month ago in Arlington.
 
At the ITAs, Eva Schwartz the tournaments eighth seed, made a run to the quarterfinals; on the doubles side, Letizia Corsini and Christine Jevicky advanced to the third and fourth place match.
 
At the Javelina Jam, Ayda Guler and Mieke Van Deventer took second in their respective flights; on the double sides, all pairings made it to the third and fourth place matches.
 
This will mark the Rambelles final action before their spring season begins the first weekend of February.
