SAN ANGELO – The Angelo State men's basketball team will take on Division I school North Texas in an exhibition scheduled on Sunday, November 26
th, at 1 p.m.
"Our program is very excited to get the opportunity to compete against the University of North Texas," said Patel. "Coach Hodge does a tremendous job, and we really appreciate him giving us the opportunity to play."
The game will take place in Denton on the campus of UNT in the Super Pit.
"The Super Pit is a great venue, and I know that our guys are going to have an awesome experience playing there," said Patel. "Playing against a team in the American Conference like UNT gives our alumni base in the Dallas-Fort Worth area a chance to see us play early in the year and provides visibility for Angelo State University."
The Mean Green are 2-0 on the season; last season, they went 31-7 as they were named NIT Champions.
