SAN ANGELO, Texas – The Angelo State baseball team has announced its schedule for the 2024 season as the Rams look to defend their national championship title.
ASU finished the 2023 season with a 59-6 overall record and won its third straight Lone Star Conference Championship en route to the program's first national championship.
The Rams begin LSC play on the road at Eastern New Mexico on Friday, Feb. 2 before opening up the home slate against Cameron on Friday. Feb. 9.
ASU will play five other home conference series this season, welcoming in UT Tyler, Oklahoma Christian, Lubbock Christian, and Texas A&M – Kingsville before closing out the regular season against West Texas A&M.
The Rams also have one non-conference game scheduled against Arlington Baptist on Wednesday, Feb. 28.
The opening round of the 2024 Lone Star Baseball Championship is scheduled to begin on May 3 while the championship round is slated to begin on May 9.
The 2024 season will also feature a new sponsorship as ASU Athletics has partnered with Double Barrel Fabrication as the foul ball sponsor, allowing fans to keep a foul ball they receive at any ASU regular season home game.
