SAN ANGELO - The Angelo State men's basketball team closes the regular season this Thursday evening in Odessa when they take on UT Permian Basin.
LAST TIME OUT IN RAMS BASKETBALL

GODWIN CLIMBS UP CAREER SCORING LIST

He has also made 161 career threes, the third-most in program history, and is just 19 threes from tying Quay King's program-record 180 threes.

LAST TIME VS. UTPB
The Rams are 17-11 all-time versus the Falcons, with the Rams riding a four-game winning streak. On December 12th, the Rams claimed a 74-65 win behind
Kevon Godwin's 22 points and
Trey Farrer's 12-point, 10-rebound double-double.
LSC TOURNAMENT SEEDING
With the Lone Star Conference Tournament set to tip off next week in Frisco, the Rams are looking to place themselves in the best position to one-up their tournament appearance from a year ago, where they made it to the tournament championship game.
A win for the Rams would see them clinch either the fifth or sixth seed at next week's tournament, depending on other results from across the LSC this weekend. Potential opponents for the Rams to open their time in Frisco include Eastern New Mexico, Lubbock Christian, and St. Edward's.
A loss for the Rams on Thursday would see them clinch the seventh seed at the tournament and set up a rematch with DBU, whom the Rams defeated in the opening round of the tournament last season.
WT has clinched the top seed in Frisco, and DBU has locked down the second seed.
LCU clinches the third seed with a win in either of their games this week versus WT or with one loss from Eastern New Mexico and St. Edward's.
Texas A&M International clinches a spot with a win or a loss by Cameron or UT Permian Basin.
UTPB will be eliminated from contention with a loss Thursday and a Cameron win; however, they will clinch a spot with a win over the Rams and jump the Rams in the standings due to holding the tiebreaker.
