Richardson, Texas – With the 2023-24 regular season ending today, the field has been set for next week's Lone Star Conference Tournament, and the Angelo State men's basketball team will be the fifth seed in the tournament, while the Angelo State women's team will be the sixth seed in the tournament, the conference announced this evening.
The LSC Tournament, held in Frisco's Comerica Center, will see the Rams close out the first day of action on Thursday, March 7
th, at 8:30 p.m., where they will take on the fourth seed in the tournament, Eastern New Mexico.
The Rams split their contests against the Greyhounds this season, with the home team winning each time. The Rams won 88-85 on January 6
th inside the Junell Center – Stephens Arena, while the Greyhounds won 100-79 on February 1
st in Portales.
A potential semifinal for the Rams would be on Saturday, March 9
th, at 2:30 p.m., and the men's tournament final is scheduled for Sunday, March 10th, at 1 p.m.
The Rambelles will open day two of the tournament when they face the third-seed, UT Permian Basin, on Friday, March 8
th at noon inside the Comerica Center. The matchup will be the third between the two teams in a ten-day stretch.
A potential semifinal for the Rambelles would be on Saturday, March 9
th, at 6 p.m., and the women's tournament final is scheduled for 3:30 on Sunday, March 10
th.

Tickets are available as single-session passes, and prices are $18 for adults and $12 for students. Each single-session ticket includes two tournament games and is only redeemable for the specified session. Tickets can be purchased at the Comerica Center Box Office or online through Ticketmaster now through the end of the tournament. Tickets purchased on Ticketmaster are subject to additional fees and taxes. No additional costs will be applied to tickets purchased at the Comerica Center Box Office.
