Rambelles Golf Travels to Arizona for Desert Invitational and Palm Valley Classic

San Angelo, Texas - The Angelo State women's golf team is back in action to compete in the Desert Invitational hosted by West Texas A&M in Tuscon, Ariz. on April 1-2. After concluding play in the Desert Invitational, the Rambelles will travel to Phoenix, Ariz. to compete in the Palm Valley Classic hosted by Western New Mexico on April 5-6.  

The Courses and the Players:  

Desert Invitational Quick Hits:  

  • In 2022, the Belles claimed a fourth-place team finish in the tournament.  

  • Juarez tied for fourth individually in the contest with a combined score of 155.  

  • Klimova tied for 66th with round scores of 85 and 87.  

Last Time Out: 

  • The Rambelles competed at the Top of Texas Invitational last time out and claimed a second-place team finish.  

  • Klimova and Juarez were the top finishers for the Blue and Gold, claiming sixth and ninth place, respectively. 

  • Grise and Stevens both tied for tenth place with combined round scores of 246.  

  • Parker tied for 21st with round scores of 83, 88, and 88.
