Indianapolis, Ind. – The Angelo State men's basketball team is eighth in the final edition of the NCAA South Central Regional rankings, the NCAA announced this afternoon.

The Rams moved up one spot from ninth in last week's rankings, switching places with MSU Denver, who are ninth in this week's rankings. The Roadrunners fell in the quarterfinals of the RMAC Tournament, 78-75, last night to Black Hills State.

West Texas A&M and Fort Lewis are the top two teams in the regional rankings, followed by DBU, Colorado Mesa, and Colorado School of Mines.

Eastern New Mexico, the Rams' opponent in the first round of the LSC Tournament tomorrow night, are sixth, and Lubbock Christian are seventh.

The Rams and the Greyhounds play at 8:30 p.m. tomorrow night in the LSC Quarterfinals. The NCAA selection show is set for Sunday night at 10 p.m. central time on NCAA.com.
