Rambelles Wrap Up Play in Desert Invitational

Tucson, Ariz- The Angelo State women's golf team finished play in the Desert Invitational hosted by West Texas A&M with play spanning from April 1-2.  

The Quick Hits:  

  • The Rambelles finish the tournament in 13th place as a team, finishing above conference opponent Texas A&M-Kingsville, with a combined score of 645 through the two rounds of play. 

  • Ozlyan Juarez was the top scorer for the Belles, finishing tied for 33rd place with round scores of 79, 79 for a combined score of 158.  

  • Beatrice Grise ended the tournament tying for 37th place with a combined score of 159.  

  • Laura Klimova tied for 58th place with round scores of 85, 77 for a total score of 162.  

  • Lacey Stevens finished the tournament tied for 75th place with a combined score of 166.  

  • LeeAnn Parker rounded out the scoring, claiming 98th place with a final score of 179.  

The Rambelles are back on the course to compete in the Palm Valley Classic hosted by Western New Mexico on April 5-6, in Phoenix, Ariz.
