Phoenix, Ariz- The Angelo State women's golf team concluded the opening round of play in the first day of the Palm Valley Classic hosted by Western New Mexico.  

Round One Quick Hits: 

• The Rambelles are tied for 15th place as a team after the first round of play with a score of 309. 

• Ozlyan Juarez ended the first day as the leading scorer for the Belles, tied for fourth place with a score of 70.  

• LeeAnn Parker ended the first round of play tied for 69th individually with a score of 78.  

• Laura Klimova ended the first day of play tied for 81st place with a round score of 80. 

• Beatrice Grise finished the first round with a score of 81 as she sits tied for 89th . 

• Lacey Stevens ended the day for the Rambelles tied for 100th with a round score of 86.  

The Belles are back on the course for day two action in the Palm Valley Classic Saturday, April 6.
