SAN ANGELO, Texas – Angelo State Baseball received the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) 2024 Team Academic Excellence Award for the 2023-24 season.
 
To be eligible for the award, teams must have maintained a GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale for the cumulative 2023-24 academic year.
 
This is the fourth consecutive season the Rams have garnered the award from the ABCA. In 2024, the Rams advanced to the College World Series for the fourth year in a row while appearing in the NCAA Division II title game for the second time in two seasons.
