Richardson, Texas —The Angelo State soccer team was picked to finish third place in the Lone Star Conference, the same finish they had a season ago, the conference announced this morning.
The Rambelles finished third with 500 points overall. DBU was picked to repeat as conference champions, receiving 587 points and 41 of the 42 first-place votes, St. Mary's was picked to finish second with 519 points.
The Rambelles were followed in the poll by Texas Woman's (456 points), Midwestern State (420 points), Texas A&M International (348) points) and St. Edward's (received one-first place vote, 323 points total)
The Belles are coming off a season in which they went 9-7-4 overall and 7-2-3 in LSC play as they advanced to the LSC Tournament Semifinals.

Travis McCorkle returns 19 players from last season's team and adds 11 new players.
The Belles open the 2024 season by traveling to Oklahoma to take on Oklahoma Baptist on September 5th, with kickoff scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
