ROME, GA - Margaux Rene's run in the ITA Cup falls short as she fell in the Quarterfinals 3-6, 6-7(2-7) to Alyssa Novoa from Rollins Friday morning. 
 
On the first day of the ITA Cup, Rene would defeat Alina Kupfer from Point Loma Nazarene 6-4, 6-3, to advance to the quarterfinals of the ITA Cup. Kupfer was the winner of the California Regional. 
 
On Friday, Margaux Rene faced off against Alyssa Novoa from Rollins. Rene would fall 3-6, 6-7(2-7) in the Quarterfinals round. Novoa, in her first round, defeated the fourth Seed Renske Ubachs 6-3, 6-2.
 
Rene will be back in action on Oct. 24th when the Rambelles travel to New Mexico to participate in the New Mexico State Invite.
