San Antonio, Texas- The Angelo State women's golf team concluded play in the opening day of the Rattler Invitational hosted by St. Mary's on Feb 24.  

Round One Quick Hits:  

• Mia Clarke led the way for the Belles with a round score of 76.  

• Kelsey Kline turned in the second-best score of 80 for the Belles after the first round.  

• Johanna Öhrling turned in the third-best round score with an 83 after the opening round of play. 

• Caitlin Vanderkruk completed the first round with a score of 84.  

•  Lacey Stevens rounded out the team scoring with a round score of 92.  

• Avery Burns, the individualist for the Belles, concluded the opening round with a score of 82.  

Round Two Quick Hits:  

• The Belles concluded the final round of play in 13th  place with a combined score of 640.  

• Clarke ended the first day of play tied for 36th with a round two score of 82.  

• Öhrling concluded the opening rounds of play, tied for 44th with a combined score of 158.  

• Kline finished the two rounds of play tied for 52nd with a second-round score of 79.  

• Vanderkruk ended the first day of play tied for 73rd with a combined score of 169.  

• Stevens rounded out the scoring for the Belles in 80th place after the opening rounds of play, with a round two score of 81.  

• Burns concluded the final round of day one tied for 70th, with a combined score of 167.  

The Belles are back in action on Feb 25. for the final round of play.
