INDIANAPOLIS – The 11
th-ranked Rams tallied their first podium finish of the 2025 NCAA Division II Indoor National Championships as
Mark Burdin finished fourth overall in the heptathlon on day two of the meet at the Fall Creek Pavilion.
After day two, the Rams are in 13
th overall in team points with four events remaining.
Burdin recorded a personal best score of 5,509 points overall, earning his second indoor First-Team All-American honor as a Ram. He finished third overall in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.33 while taking seventh in the pole vault with a height of 4.35m (14-3.25).
Solomon Odonkor advanced to the finals of the 200-meter dash after taking seventh overall in the prelims, crossing the finish line at 21.22. He will compete in the finals tomorrow afternoon.
For the Rambelles,
Jacent Nyamahunge earned Second-Team All-American after finishing ninth in the 200-meter dash with a time of 23.89.
ASU will conclude the championship meet tomorrow which begins at noon ET with the men's triple jump.
