Rockwall, Texas- The Angelo State women's golf team concluded their first day of play in the LSC Championship on the Rockwall Golf & Athletic Club course, with two rounds of play on Apr. 21. 

Round One Quick Hits:  

• The Rambelles ended the first round of play tied for ninth place with a combined score of 301.  

• Johanna Öhrling finished the opening round with a score of 75.  

• Lacey Stevens ended the opening round with a score of 76.  

• Mia Clarke concluded her opening round with a score of 78.  

• Kelsey Kline finished the opening round with a round score of 82.  

• Caitlin Vanderkruk rounded out the scoring for the Belles in the opening round with a score of 87.  

Round Two Quick Hits:  

• The Belles ended the first day of play in ninth place, out of the total field of 12 teams, with a combined score of 623.  

• Öhrling turned in the best performance in the opening day of play, tied for 17th with round scores of 75 and 75.  

• Stevens finished the first day of play tied for 26th with a combined score of 153.  

• Clarke turned in the third best performance for the Belles, tied for 42nd with round scores of 78 and 81.  

• Kline concluded her opening day of play tied for 49th with a combined score of 165.  

• Vanderkruk rounded out the team scoring for the Blue and Gold, tied for 50th with round scores of 87 and 79 for a combined score of 166.  

The Belles are back in action for the third round of play on Apr. 22.
