PORTALES, N.M. – Wrapping up the second day of the 2025 Lone Star Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships, Kylie Frush won the heptathlon title as the 16^th-ranked Rambelles sit in second place while the 12^th-ranked Rams are in third.
 
The Rambelles have tallied 92 points through the first two days while the Rams have collected 57.50 points.
 
Frush won the heptathlon with a point total of 5,063 points, finished first overall in the 200m (24.72), the long jump (5.85m | 19-2.25), and the 800m (2:20.50). Gracie Stephens finished sixth overall in the event, totaling 4,434 points overall.
 
Setting a new personal best, Mary Brown finished third overall in the 3,000m steeplechase as she crossed the finish line in 11:05.60.
 
In the women's discus, Kamryn Williams finished second overall with a mark of 47.12m (154-7) while Tiamara Hill-Johnson came in fourth at 45.31m (148-8).
 
Earning points for the Rambelles in the high jump was Kylyie Paden (1.67m | 5-5.75) and Maricia Spence (1.56m | 5-1.5) who finished fourth and sixth respectively.
 
In the prelims of the 400m hurdles, Kaylee Price advanced to the finals with a time of 1:02.28 along with Shackelia Green who ran 1:02.60.
 
For the Rams, Mark Burdin and Adrian Washington tied for second overall in the high jump, clearing a height of 1.95m (6-4.75).
 
Kobi Valchar finished fifth overall in the men's discus, tossing a mark of 46.53m (152-8).
 
On the track, Antonio Blair and Adrian Nethersole both advanced to the finals of the 800m, running times of 1:53.11 and 1:52.8 respectively.
 
In the 400m, Rami Balti ran the second fastest time in the prelims at 46.51 while Tristan Guerrero also advanced to the finals with a time of 47.80.
 
Solomon Odonkor advanced to the finals in the 100m, running the third fastest time in the prelims at 10.56.
 
The Rams qualified two for the finals of the 400m hurdles in Marcus Williams, who ran 54.45, and Taylor Briggs who crossed the finish line in 54.87.
 
In the men's 3000m steeple chase, Caden Glenn finished sixth overall with a time of 9:59.53 while Austin Souther came in eighth at 10:06.19.
 
The final day of the championships begins tomorrow with field events beginning at noon while running events start at 6:30 p.m.
