Tempe, Ariz.- The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) released its list of academic winners this morning. The Angelo State women's tennis program earned All-Academic honors, while having seven student-athletes named to the ITA Scholar-Athletes list.

Athletes must have a 3.5 GPA for the current academic year to be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete. For a team to be named to the ITA All-Academic Team, the program must acquire a team GPA of 3.2.

 The Rambelles that earned ITA Scholar-Athlete honors are
Margaux Rene,
Mieke Van Deventer, Elise Gillis,
Eva Schwartz,
Jessica Li,
Ivet Stancheva, and
Mary-June Quinn.

The Belles have been named to the ITA All-Academic Team every season since the program's resurrection in 2017-2018.Â

Belles tennis student-athletes have earned ITA Scholar-Athletes 52 times over the program's eight years.Â
