RICHARDSON, Texas - Senior Goalkeeper Melyna Martinez was named the LSC Goalkeeper of the Week for her performances against CSU Pueblo and MSU Denver, recording two shutouts with four saves over the two contests.
 
In the match against CSU Pueblo, she recorded three saves, while in the match against MSU Denver, she only had one save thanks to the stifling defense of the Blue and Gold.  
 
Martinez is tied for first in the conference with two shutouts. This year in four contests, Martinez has recorded 11 saves and two shutouts to begin her tenure as the starting Goalkeeper for the Rambelles. 
 
Heading into Lone Star Conference play, Martinez has not allowed a goal in her last 190:58 minutes of action.
 
The Rambelles will return to action on Wednesday against DBU with kick-off scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
