Indianapolis, Ind. – The Angelo State golf team has qualified for its third-ever regional tournament appearance in program history, the NCAA announced this afternoon with the release of its tournament field.
Additionally, the Rambelles have qualified for the West Regional in back-to-back years for the first time in program history. The Rambelles' first-ever postseason appearance came back in 2010.
The West Regional is scheduled to be played on May 4-6 in Pueblo, Colorado.
This season, the Rambelles have finished in the top ten in all but one tournament they have competed in this season and have collected four top-five finishes.
Joining the Rambelles in Pueblo next week are DBU, UT Tyler, Cal State San Marcos, St. Mary's, CSU Pueblo, West Texas A&M, Midwestern State, Cal State LA, Simon Fraser, Point Loma, Cal State Monterey Bay, Cal State East Bay, Lubbock Christian, Texas A&M International, Westmont, Colorado Christian, and Hawaii Hilo.
