Canyon, Texas – The Angelo State softball team's opening round game in the South Central regional against Texas A&M-Kingsville has been rescheduled for tomorrow at noon due to unsafe playing conditions in Canyon.
Lightning in the Canyon area sparked multiple brush fires, leading to deteriorated air quality at Schaeffer Park.

Game 2 12 p.m. (3) Angelo State vs. (6) Texas A&M-Kingsville
Game 3 2:30 p.m. (2) West Texas A&M vs. Game Two Winner
Game 4 5 p.m. (7) CSU Pueblo vs. Game Two Loser
Game 5* 7:30 p.m. Game Four Winner vs. Game Three Loser
*If Game 5 is a team's third game of the day, it would be moved to Saturday at noon
Saturday, May 16th
*Game 5 12 p.m. Game Four Winner vs. Game Three Loser
**Game 6 2:30 p.m. Game Three Winner vs. Game Five Winner
***Game 7 (if necessary) Game Six Winner vs. Game Six Loser
**If Game Three Winner wins Game 6, the tournament is over.
***If Game 5 is played on Saturday and the Game 5 winner wins Game 6, the if-necessary game will be played on Sunday at 12 p.m. If Game 5 is played on Friday night, Game 6 will be played as scheduled at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, with the if-necessary game immediately following.
