KINGSVILLE- The Angelo State women's track and field program continues to make history with their sixth-straight conference title here at the 2014 Lone Star Conference Championships at Javelina Stadium in Kingsville.

The Rambelles won the meet with 182 points and winning four titles.

The Rams placed second behind Texas A&M-Kingsville scoring 153 points. The men won two titles over the weekend.

The women began the final day with a good start picking up nine points in the javelin.
Ashlie Francis placed fourth with a throw of 34.77 meters (114' 1") whileÂ
Chesney Neely placed sixth throwing 29.54 meters (96' 11") and freshman
Amber Graham hit a mark of 28.82 meters (94' 7") to snag eighth.

Neely won the discus grabbing the Rambelles third title of the weekend with a throw of 43.95 meters (144' 2") while
Emma Thompson placed third with a toss of 43.24 meters (141' 10") and Francis placed fourth with 42.74 (140' 3").

Ambowode grabs her first LSC title of the weekend in the 400-meter hurdles in a tight race clocking in a 1"01.18.
Lexi Brooks takes third and Gray finished fourth running 1:02.71 and 1:04.41, respectively. Giving the Rambelles 21 more points towards the team title.
Gray and Agbosoga were at it again finishing fourth and sixth in the 200-meter dash running 24.79 and 25.03, respectively to give the Rambelles eight more points.

Kearah Danville and
Jordan Gray made their way back onto the award stand earlier today in the long jump. The duo placed second and third in the event hitting jumps of 5.87 meters (19' 3.25") and 5.85 meters (19' 2.50"), respectively giving the women 14 more points.

Luis Perez defended his LSC title in the 400-meter dash winning the event with a time of 47.71.
Dallas Gray snuck in a grabbed third place with a time of 48.79 to give the Rams 16 points in the event.

Asael Arad and
Keaton Hatch scored some big points for the Rams in the javelin. Arad and Hatch finished second place with a throw of 60.64 meters (198' 11") and fourth place with a throw of 53.17 meters (174' 5") Â to grab 13 points.

The Rambelles 4X100-meter relay team of
Kinsey Coppedge,
Allison Agbasoga, Chelsea Mooreand Gray finished second with a time of 47.41 to grab eight points to start off the running events.

The Rams 4X100-meter relay team of
Richard Snyder,
Robbie Thayer,
Dallas Gray and
Cody Schulz finished in second with a NCAA Division II provisional time of 41.20 to start off the running finals with eight points.

Jaylen Rodgers finished seventh in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 4:46.13. Rodgers also placed sixth in the 800-meter dash with a time of 2:20.38.
Gray finished third in the 100-meter hurdles giving the Rambelles six points clocking in a 13.94.

Wala Gime and
Hagen Kennedy finished second and seventh in the 110-meter hurdles to give the Rams 10 points running 13.94 and 15.12, respectively. Gime finished second in the 400-meter hurdles to claim eight more points for the Rams.

Agbasoga finished fourth in the 400-meter dash clocking in a 57.16.

Coppedge ran her way into a fifth place finish in the 100-meter dash running a 12.30 to give ASU four much-needed points.

Schulz and
Jordan Anderson finished sixth and seventh in the 100-meter dash  to give the Rams five points running times of 10.68 and 10.71, respectively. Â

 Jarrett Lujan placed sixth in the 800-meter dash clocking in a 1:56.51 to give the Rams another three points.
Â
Perez and Anderson finished fourth and seventh in the 200-meter dash running 21.67 and 22.15, respectively and scoring the Rams another seven points.Â

Hatch found his way onto the award stand with a second place finish in the discus with a mark of 51.52 meters (169' 00") to give the Rams eight more points.
Michelle Billingsley placed fourth in the high jump with a clearance of 1.62 meters (5' 3.75"). Danville placed fifth with a clearance of 1.62 meters (5' 3.75") and Ambowode placed eighth clearing 1.56 meters (5' 1.25")giving the Rambelles just enough points to give a good lead before the 4X400-meter relay.
Graham Hazlewood and
Jamin Goecker were able to squeeze out some points in the 5,000-meter run placing fifth and eighth.
The Rams ended the night with a tight 4X400-meter relay winning the title with a time of 3:12.31. Gray,
Robbie Thayer, Perez and GIme edged out Tarleton State on the last 50 meters to win the title.
Next up is the 2014 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Allendale, Mich. May 22-24.
