SAN ANGELO, Texas – The Angelo State University Belle basketball team faces off against the D2 defending national champions, Lubbock Christian, at home this week. This game will start conference play for the Belles.

Since 2014, Angleo State and Lubbock Christian have played each other four times, with Lubbock Christian leading the series, 4-0. The last time that these two times played each other was on March 19, 2019 in the NCAA DII South Central Regional Final where LCU defeated the Belles, 76-70.
Players to Watch:
- De'Anira Moore shot 7-12 field goals, scoring 18 points. Moore was four for six free throws, and she registered 12 total rebounds, five on offense and seven on defense. Moore also registered one block and one assist.
- Asia Davis shot 5-10 field goals, scoring 17 points. Davis was six for seven free throws, one for three on three pointers, and registered three defensive rebounds. Davis also registered two assists and one steal.
- Catara Samuel shot 6-14 field goals, scoring 14 points. Samuel was two for six on free throws, and registered six rebounds, three on offense and three on defense.
- Megan Guadian shot 4-12 field goals, scoring 12 points. Guadian was two for two on free throws, registering four rebounds, two on offense and two on defense. Guadian recorded four assists and two steals as well.
