Lexington, Ky. – With the 2022 volleyball season right around the corner, the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) has released its preseason poll ahead of matches starting next week.

The Belles slot in 13^th in the national ranking, earning 574 total points. The Belles are the highest-ranked team from the LSC, just edging out West Texas A&M (14^th) with UT Tyler not too far behind (19^th).

The Belles are also the third-highest ranked team in the South Central Region, behind MSU Denver (4^th) and Colorado School of Mines (11^th).

The Belles open their schedule next weekend when they host the Kathleen Brasfield Invitational. The following weekend, they will travel to Colorado to play in the Colorado Premier Challenge, where they are scheduled to face MSU Denver and 12^th-ranked Northwest Missouri State.
