SAN ANGELO, Texas - The Angelo State women's soccer team inked eight signees to their 2025 class as Olivia Arauz, Ava Cantu, Lailah Conner, Jayce Garza, Jillian Greaves, Eleanor Lock, Carley Martinez, and Talon Philips committed to play for the Angelo State Rambelles. 
 
Oliva Arauz| Clute, Texas| Brazoswood HS | Forward/Midfielder
Arauz was the district's Offensive Player of the Year in 2023, an All-Region Honorable Mention in 2023, and first-team All-District in 2023. She also earned Academic All-District in the 2021, 2022, and 2023 seasons. She intends to major in Mechanical engineering. 
 
Ava Cantu | Cypress, Texas | Cypress Woods HS | Midfielder 
Cantu was 16-6A Second Team All-District scoring 15 goals and 11 assists. Cantu the Offensive MVP at Cypress Woods last season and was part of the 16-6A Academic All-District. Cantu intends to major in Exercise Science.
 
Lailah Conner | Dallas, Texas | Carter HS | Defender
Conner was a part of the Revolution Premier 06 Gold team that ranked 1st in the region, 1st in North Texas, and 1st in the Nation. Conner played in the 2024 USYS National Championships and won the Championship. Was a 2024 NTX State Cup Finalist, and also won the 2023-2024 GCL Elite Division Championships and 2023-2024 USYS Frontier League Championships.
In 2023-2024 Conner was the Co-Utility Player of the Year in District 4A and she is a 23-24 NHS member. Conner intends to major in nursing.
 
Jaycee Garza | Lubbock, Texas| Frenship HS | Defender 
Garza was named the District Defensive Player of the Year for the 2023-2024 season. She was also named to the All-District First Team. She is part of the National Honor Society, recording a 4.0 GPA, while in high school. Garza intends to major in Business Administration.
Jillian Greaves | Flower Mound, Texas | Flower Mound HS | Forward
Greaves played for DKSC ECNL-RL. She intends to major in Natural Resource Management.
 
Eleanor Lock | Fayetteville, AR | Fayetteville HS | Center Midfield
Lock played for Bentonville Prodigy FC during her time the team won three state championships and was President's Cup semifinalist in 2024. She was a three-year captain and a four-year starter. Lock was a part of the All-Conference team in 2024, All-State Tournament Team in 2024, and, was part of the United Soccer Coaches All-State Team in 2023. She was a National Merit Semifinalist and is part of the National Honor Society.
 
Carley Martinez | San Angelo, Texas | Central HS | Midfield / Forward
Martinez was the Freshman Newcomer of the Year for District 2-6A, part of the 1st team All-District her Sophomore and Junior years. She was selected to be part of the National Honor Society and was the President of the Student Council at Central HS.
 
Talon Phillips | Stephenville, Texas | Stephenville HS | Midfielder
Phillips played for Solar 06/07 ECRL Adames. Phillips was part of the First Team All-District in 2022,2023, and 2024. Phillips was named an All-Region midfielder in 2024 and was the District Midfielder MVP in 24. Phillips is part of the National Honor Society and intends to major in science, focusing on being a Dental Hygienist.
