Madison Maxey, and
Harper Saxon were each named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District women's soccer team after stellar performances on the field and in the classroom, the organization announced Tuesday afternoon.

The Academic All-District Team is selected by the College Sports Communicators (CSC), in order to recognize student-athletes for their combined performance on the field and in the classroom. To be nominated, a student-athlete must be a starter or important reserve with at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA.

Coleman, is a Curriculum and Instruction, Advanced Instructor major and was named to the All-LSC Second Team. Coleman is part of a defensive line that has only allowed nine goals to this point in the season.Â

Heise, a Coaching, Sport, Recreation, and Fitness Administration major, was a critical component to the Rambelles midfield this season, adding two goals and 3 assists. She was named to the All-LSC First Team.Â

Maxey scored two goals this season and earned three assists. She is a Health Science Major and was selected to the All-Tournament team, while being one of two captains for the Rambelles this season.

Saxon an Exercise Science major, returned this season from an injury that kept her out all of last season, and led the Rambelles to an LSC Regular Season and Tournament Championship leading the back line that only allowed nine goals in the season heading into the South Central Regional. Saxon was also selected to the LSC First Team for her play on the field.
