No. 19 Rambelles Extend Win Streak to Nine Matches in a Row With a 5-2 Victory Over Slippery Rock

Orlando, Florida - The No.19 Rambelles extended their winning streak to nine matches as they closed their spring break trip to Orlando with a 5-2 victory over Slippery Rock.
 
Mieke Van Deventer and Ivet Stancheva would start things for the Rambelles as they would win at No. 3 doubles against Gabriela Del Val Del Toro, 6-1.
 
The No.21 ranked doubles team, Avery Durham and Eva Schwartz, would clinch the doubles point for the Rambelles as they defeated Amaia Balaguer Brau and Nicole Kempton, 6-1.
 
Ayda Guler and Letizia Corsini match at No. doubles would be abandoned with the Rambelles leading 5-3 against Leontina Slovak and Dari Sakhanova.
 
Ayda Guler would start things for the Rambelles as she defeated Georgia Lancaster at line five, 6-2, 6-0, to give the Rambelles their second point of the match.
 
Christine Jevicky continued her hot run of form at No.4 singles, defeating Nicole Kempton 6-1, 6-3. This extended her winning streak to seven matches in a row and gave the Rambelles a 3-0 lead.
 
Jessica Li would clinch the match for the Rambelles as she would defeat Dari Sakhanova 6-2, 6-4 to clinch the victory for the Rambelles.
 
Letizia Corsini extended her unbeaten streak to 10 matches in singles play, beating Amaia Balaguer Brau 6-4, 6-7, 11-9, to give the Rambelles their fifth point of the contest.
 
Avery Durham would fall short to Leontina Slovak at line six, 6-2, 6-3, giving Slippery Rock its first point of the match.
 
Eva Schwartz would fall just short in a three-set thriller. She would finish the first set in dominant fashion, 6-2, but would fall short in the next two sets as she fell 7-6 (7-4) on set two and 10-8 on set three to end the match 5-2 in favor of the Rambelles.
 
The No. 19 Rambelles return to action on Mar.22nd as they return to LSC to take on Cameron at home with first serve scheduled for 11:00 a.m.
